SENIOR TAX CONSULTANT
Donald Chen received the CMA designation in 1974. He joined Canada Revenue Agency in 1967 as a Desk Auditor and then progressed to Senior Audit Manager’s position in 20 years as Chief of Large Files Audit, Chief of Small and Medium Enterprises Audit, and Chief of Internal Audit. He retired as Chief of Special Investigations Division and ranked as the Assistant Director-Taxation of the Toronto West Tax Cervices Office in the year 2000.
Donald founded the Allied Professional Services Ltd. in May 2000 providing income tax consulting services to the new immigrants and other accountants in Ontario.
He joined Happy Life Wealth Management in 2013 as Senior Tax Consultant
Donald is a retired Law Society of Ontario Paralegal and Ontario Commissioner of Oaths under Regulation 386/12.
He was the Order in Council appointed UIC Appeal Board Chair from 2008 to 2013. Donald was also appointed by the Ontario Attorney General’s Office to sit on the Board of the Ontario Architect’s’ Association in September 2019.
Donald was awarded the Governor General of Canada Medal, the 125th Anniversary Medal of the Founding of Canada, the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal, and the Philippine Knight Medal among others, totalling 14.
